The Nampa Public Library has issued a Call to Artists for a Spanish (language) Area Mural
The Nampa Public Library has once again issued a call to artists for Spanish language area mural. This mural is financed through the Nampa Public Library Foundation and will be funded by a Spanish grant from Key Bank.  The mural will be located on the third floor of the library building in the Spanish area.  The Nampa Public Library and the Library Foundation want to enhance the library experience and celebrate our community with art.
    The mural should:
    • Be of cultural and/or historical importance to the Hispanic community of the Treasure Valley.
    • Reflect the struggle of Hispanics in Idaho to balance a desire for educational success and the demands of working in the agricultural industry.
    • Provide excitement and interest for the community as a whole.
Applications will be accepted until Tuesday April 4, and can be located on the Library website nampalibrary.org.  A copy of the application can also be picked up in the Library at the Borrower Services desk on the first floor.
Two finalist’s proposals will be on view at the library for public comment from May 12 thru May 23.
It is anticipated that the mural will be on display at the library summer 2017.
